Experimenting with the differences in the U gouge and the V gouge for creating different textures for the fur of the longhorn was the most enjoyable part of creating this linocut block. A longhorn is the mascot for my sister's university. Since our universities are rivals, I created this print as a trio. This burnt orange version is a way to incorporate her universities' colors into an artwork that honors the rival school.
